Weldwerks, Untitled Art, Blackstack, Phase Three, and Southern Grist coming from Pequod! Oh lawd… We took this sundae sour and baked it up with a mountain of confetti cake, filled it with strawberry and raspberry jelly then covered it in frosting and plopped a candle on top. PRRRT So Good is loaded it up with Strawberry & Blueberry and then hit it with cotton candy floss for that real melt in your mouth, sticky fingers at the fair cotton candy flavor.⠀Contains no lactose. You know you’re in for a good time when you see people walking around with cotton candy, and this one’s definitely a good time. It simply explodes with notes of apricot, pineapple, kiwi, melon and that sticky icky dankness we just can’t get enough of. It’s all very nerdy and scientific but basically we reimagined a totally new dry hop schedule and used our evil robot centrifuge to create a total juice unit. We ran out of Pliny the Younger in just eight hours, meaning we sold 80 barrels of beer in that time, which was extraordinary. It’s that time of year! For the 3rd year in a row I’ve teamed up with Gly-Mawr The Local in Mt. Every single person who walked through the door ordered our limit on the number of growlers you could buy. Within five minutes of opening at 11 a.m., the restaurant filled up to capacity. They told him they were there for the Pliny the Younger release, thanks to it's growing status as one of the best beers in the world. But when Vinnie showed up at the brewpub at 7 a.m., four hours before we opened, there was already a huge line of people standing out front. In 2010, we were ready to release Pliny the Younger on the first Friday in February like always. But Pliny the Younger somehow gained traction on sites like RateBeer and BeerAdvocate, which drew attention from beer enthusiasts everywhere. There was no marketing, no advertising - at the time we didn't even use social media. For years, it was just another beer we released in the winter.
